To protect the bond between pets and owners, Bayer Animal Health is donating 20,000 resQTM scanners to shelters across the United States and 10,000 more to veterinarians who are helping to reunite lost pets with their owners.
ResQ offers the first scanner for shelters and veterinarians that reads all brands of tested microchips currently sold in the United States* including encrypted and unencrypted microchips. By providing these scanners to the animal healthcare industry, Bayer Animal Health is helping to increase the number of lost pets reunited with their owners.
* Third-party test results confirmed that the resQ reader successfully read 200 out of 200 encrypted AVIDTM microchips, 50 out of 50 unencrypted AVID microchips, and 100 out of 100 HomeAgainTM microchips.
